For most of history, gold has been how ordinary people protected what they earned. Today the information around it is scattered, written for professionals, priced in a currency most of the world does not use, and surrounded by people selling something.
We think anyone, anywhere, should be able to see what gold is really worth to them, understand why it moves, and decide for themselves whether it belongs in their savings. That is what The Gold Metrics is for.

What we stand by
- One price, shown honestly. Every number on the site comes from a single price source, with the time it was taken. We never show a flattering figure next to a real one.
- Your money, not ours. Prices and returns appear in your own currency, because that is what you earn and spend.
- Learning before buying. We would rather you understand gold and decide it is not for you than buy it without understanding it. Our comparisons show gold's bad years as clearly as its good ones.
- Your data stays yours. We collect only what we need, never sell it, never store full ID numbers, and let you delete your account yourself at any time.
How we make money
Today we do not: everything is free while we build. In future we plan to offer optional paid plans with deeper tools, with the price shown clearly before you pay. We do not earn commission for recommending products, and we do not sell advertising based on your data.
