What The Gold Metrics is

An educational platform for gold market information. It offers live and historical gold prices, free courses in the TGM Academy, the Gold vs everything comparison, an AI Gold Consultant, a tracker for physical gold you own and a paper trading simulator. Read our risk disclosure before relying on any of it.

Not financial advice

Everything on the site, including answers from the Gold Consultant, is general information for educational purposes. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account. Do your own research, and consider speaking to a licensed professional before making investment decisions.

No investment products

The Gold Metrics does not currently offer investment products, execute real trades, accept deposits, or hold money or gold for you.

Paper trading

The simulator uses virtual money only, and no real orders are placed. Prices come from third-party market data and may be delayed or differ from what you would get in a real market, especially outside trading hours. Simulated short positions (labelled CFD) involve no real contracts. Simulated results do not predict real-world performance.

AI answers

The Gold Consultant uses artificial intelligence. Its answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so check important information independently.

Market data

Prices, charts and news come from third-party sources. We work to keep them accurate but do not guarantee that they are complete, current or free of errors.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity under your account on The Gold Metrics. Keep your Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu, which deletes the data in it.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not:

• try to access other people's data, or our systems, without permission;
• interfere with the service or overload it;
• scrape or copy the service in bulk; or
• use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Intellectual property

The site, its design and its content belong to thegoldmetrics Inc. or its licensors. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, thegoldmetrics Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from decisions you make based on information from the service.

Changes

We may update these terms, or change or stop parts of the service. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
